Senior Accountant, Tax Accounting
A senior level role that is responsible for organizing and maintaining records of tax payments. Excellent time management skills is essential, the role have to ensure that the organization meets regulatory deadlines. To succeed in this role, he/she should show interest in following changes to tax regulations and laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate and track tax returns.
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
Organize and update the company’s tax database.
Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
Share financial data with the accounting department.
Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Forecast tax predictions to senior managers.
Perform the tasks needed and is willing to go on overtime when necessary.
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, or related field is required.
With at least 2 to 5 years working experience on finance, accounting, audit and/or related field or 1 year proven experience as Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer.
CPA, CMA, CIMA and other related certifications is required.

Learning Strategies — Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate
for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
Accounting Concepts and Principles — Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems: Knowledge of accounting software user and administration skills Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, SAP, Intuit, JD Edwards.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Attention to Detail — Particular about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Diagnostic Information Gathering — Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information, when others are reluctant to disclose it.
Forward and Conceptual Thinking — Ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies, taking a holistic, abstract, or theoretical perspective.
