An intermediate level role that is responsible for organizing and maintaining records of tax payments. Excellent time management skills is essential, the role have to ensure that the organization meets regulatory deadlines. To succeed in this role, he/she should show interest in following changes to tax regulations and laws.
Prepare tax payments.
Estimate and track tax returns.
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
Organize and update the company’s tax database.
Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
Share financial data with the accounting department.
Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Forecast tax predictions to senior managers.
Perform the tasks needed and is willing to go on overtime when necessary.
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required.
With at least 2 to 5 years working experience on finance, accounting, audit and/or related field or 1 year proven experience as Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer.
CPA, CMA and other related certifications is a requirement.

Accounting Concepts and Principles — Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems: Oracle - NetSuite, Odoo, SAP, Intuit, JD Edwards.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Attention to Detail — Particular about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
